About the Opportunity

A reputable, full-service law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This firm supports clients across multiple practice areas-including civil litigation, corporate, real estate, personal injury, family law, and transactional matters-offering a diverse and dynamic workload. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to independently manage assignments while supporting attorneys across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys across multiple practice areas
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including motions, pleadings, contracts, discovery responses, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and calendars to ensure timely progression
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and outside vendors
  • Prepare and file court documents (electronic and paper filing) in compliance with state and federal rules
  • Assist with trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibits, and binders
  • Gather and analyze documents, medical records, or case-related materials as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and ethical standards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting (multi-practice experience preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and/or transactional workflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Clio, Case Master Pro, or similar case management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
